Privacy
PagePreflight is designed so a page audit can remain on your device.
What the extension accesses
After you press Run audit, Safari grants temporary access to the active page. PagePreflight inspects bounded page-code signals needed for the report, including metadata, script signatures, links, images, interactive elements, and JSON-LD blocks.
What stays local
Expected deployment profiles are stored in Safari extension storage on your device. Audit results are held only for the current popup session unless you explicitly export a Markdown or JSON file.
What PagePreflight does not read or retain
- Passwords or form-field values
- Cookies or browser history
- Complete page HTML or complete script contents in reports
- Audits from tabs you did not explicitly authorize
Website measurement
This website does not run a browser analytics beacon and does not set an analytics cookie. We may use aggregate request totals supplied by our hosting provider without adding page-level tracking code.
Exports and support
An exported file leaves your device only when you choose to share it. If you email an export to support, we process that message solely to answer your request.
